Simply 11 days in the past, Warner Bros. introduced the beginning of manufacturing on Wonka, a prequel concerning the lifetime of the younger Willy Wonka, certainly one of fiction’s nice lovers about sweet and torturing babies for kicks. Timothée Chalamet performs the younger Wonka.
Lower than two weeks later, we’ve already received our first photograph of Chalamet as Wonka. Chalamet himself posted it on his official Twitter account. Test it out:

Whereas Wonka is a prequel, Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Manufacturing unit provided its personal origin story for the character. (It concerned his father, who was a dentist, performed by Christopher Lee.) So this film will presumably supply a unique model of that story. No phrase on whether or not the Oompa Loompas are concerned but. Wonka is scheduled to open in theaters on March 17, 2023.
