The Trump administration and congressional officers are scrutinizing a deal between Apple and Alibaba that will deliver Alibaba-powered AI options to iPhones offered in China, in response to The New York Occasions.
Citing nameless sources, the NYT says White Home officers and members of the Home Choose Committee on China have requested Apple executives immediately in regards to the deal, with questions centered on what information could be shared with Alibaba and whether or not the corporate was making any commitments to Chinese language regulators.
