The BBC has launched first-look photos of its upcoming drama, Mr Loverman, starring Lennie James (Line of Obligation), Sharon D Clarke (Physician Who) and Tahj Miles (Demise in Paradise).
The eight-parter, based mostly on Booker prize-winning creator Bernardine Evaristo’s best-selling 2013 novel, follows Barrington Jedidiah Walker (James), who’s described as a “seventy-four 12 months previous, Antiguan born, exuberant Hackney persona, famend for his dapper style and fondness for retro fits”.
