Jennifer Hudson leads the tributes as Dreamgirls co-star Hinton Battle dies aged 67

The leisure world mourns the lack of Hinton Battle, a prodigious expertise whose footprints on Broadway and past have left an indelible mark. 

On the age of 67, the revered actor and singer handed away at Cedars Sinai Medical Middle in Los Angeles. 

His dying was confirmed by his consultant, who said that Hinton’s household has chosen to not disclose the reason for his passing at the moment.

“We misplaced two irreplaceable Broadway icons this week. Chita Rivera and Hinton Battle! I’ll at all times be thankful for their distinctive artistry and influence and the best way our lives intersected! Relaxation properly, legends!”

Hinton’s contributions to the humanities earned him prestigious nods, together with SAG and Critics’ Selection nominations for his function in Dreamgirls.

Nonetheless, his accolades didn’t start nor finish there; he was a three-time Tony Award winner within the featured actor in a musical class.
