Matt Stewart, the longtime trumpet participant within the ska punk band Streetlight Manifesto, died on the age of 41 on Sunday (Sept. 10), the band has confirmed. The group stated he died of pure causes.
Tributes to the late musician have began pouring in, as BrooklynVegan confirmed. Stewart had been in Streetlight Manifesto, the Tomas Kalnoky-led act based in early-2000s New Jersey, for the previous 16 years. And from the tributes, it is clear that Stewart had a optimistic affect on many within the scene.
