It seems Ariana Grande’s newest reported love curiosity has created some confusion.
With rumours that the singer has set her eyes upon fellow star Ethan Slater – an actor who performed SpongeBob’s character within the live-action musical – it has resulted in a weird case of mistaken identification.
After an Instagram publish made by The Lower posed the query “Is Ariana Grande Courting SpongeBob Now?”, many wrongly assumed the reference to SpongeBob was about Tom Kenney – the actor who has been the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants for over 20 years on Nickelodeon.

After seeing the publish, Kenny’s spouse Jill Talley was fast to clear up rumours.
“Hello everybody, I am married to Tom Kenny (who voices SpongeBob on the TV present),” she commented on the publish, per Individuals.
“He isn’t courting Ariana Grande. I do not know if Ethan Slater (who performed SpongeBob within the musical) is or is not courting Ariana Grande. Nonetheless, they’re each lovable and I completely ship it. Simply wished to set the file straight.”
The actress went on to notice that herself and Tom Kenny have been celebrating their twenty seventh marriage ceremony anniversary.

Rumours of Slater and Grande’s romance emerged after a supply advised Us Weekly that the pair have been courting.
“Ariana and Ethan are courting; nonetheless issues are pretty new,” the supply claimed to the outlet. “Ariana and Dalton break up in January, and Ethan is separated from his spouse.”
