Peter Robbins, who voiced Charlie Brown within the traditional Sixties Peanuts cartoons, has died. The previous actor dedicated suicide final week, his household informed San Diego’s Fox 5. He was 65.
Robbins (actual title Louis G. Nanasi) was born in 1956 in Los Angeles. He started performing in 1963 and was the primary to play the Charles M. Schulz-created character of Charlie Brown, together with in such perennial vacation animated classics as A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) and It’s the Nice Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966).
Along with voicing Charlie Brown for 4 years, Robbins recurred on the 1968 comedy Blondie and visitor starred on such TV collection as Rawhide, The Munsters, The Donna Reed Present, F Troop, Get Good and My Three Sons. Robbins stop performing in 1972. For awhile, he labored as a DJ in Palm Springs.
Robbins, who suffered from bipolar dysfunction, made headlines in 2015 when he was sentenced to 5 years for making threats to a number of folks, together with public figures. He was launched in 2019.
