The “feud” between Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel is likely one of the longest working jokes in Hollywood — who would have thought its beginnings had been so random? And had mainly NOTHING to do with one of many folks concerned??
Talking on Sirius XM‘s The Jess Cagle Present on Wednesday, Matt lastly opened up about his aspect of the entire thing.

It began with the Saving Personal Ryan star being simply as clueless as anybody else! He defined:
“Folks began to name me and ask like, ‘Hey, what’s your connection to this man?’ … I’d by no means met Jimmy. And he actually pulled my title out of skinny air one night time.”
He didn’t even watch the present, joking that “nobody did” at the moment! LOLz! He actually can’t flip it off!

And to the star truly coming onstage on the Emmys whereas Kimmel was internet hosting to twist the knife about dropping the award to John Oliver…
Damon stated he’s spoken to Kimmel, with whom he’s develop into good pals, about preserving the bit going so lengthy. He says the JKL host informed him it simply “doesn’t behave like several joke ever”:
