Luckily, the cops took all of it in stride and simply laughed, based on Greutert, who stated that the screams needed to have been “fairly practical” to warrant a name from the police. “They stated, ‘We need to however, you understand, you’re all proper.’ […] It’s a reasonably comic story…Plus Steve is such a light mannered man. I can solely think about the look on his face when he realized what was occurring!” Sound design is a crucial a part of all motion pictures (particularly horror), so if nothing else, props to Greutert and firm for doing their job too nicely.
