I feel the critic score was abysmally unsuitable. Imo this film is a masterpiece. I feel Spielberg hated it as a result of it hits too near residence – generally as artists we make issues that we do not perceive or embrace till a lot later, the place unintended that means slips by means of.
His largest criticism and his ideas on altering it – including inexperienced display screen/mocap – are wild to examine when to me the overt set reinforces the hallucination/dream framing of the whole film. Hook with inexperienced display screen could be horrible.
Edit: wow, I didn’t realise how divisive this film could be. I feel it is actually fascinating how a lot we both love or hate it.
